When God speaks to us He does not have a conversation. He instructs. Like a parent He gives directions. The conscience voice is God telling us what to do or not to do. If you listen you will hear. It is the voice that you know in your heart and mind to be the truth or the right thing to do. You do not have to obey. That is free will. You may not recognize it as God because you do not believe but it is, just as the voice ask why don't you believe and you fight it with human reasoning. just a point ---- As long as the voice that you hear is your own your O.K. but if it is another voice seek help.

No. I don't hear God in my head (would be nice sometimes to have a direct line like that!) If anything, it may be your conscience that you're hearing, your sense of morality. If it's telling you to do the right thing then certainly God would approve but I don't think He actually speaks to us directly.
Even without faith, even without a conscience you have a voice in your head, an inner monologue, that's your conscious mind. It may think good or evil things. I don't think anyone confuses their consciousness with the voice of God (well some fanatics might just as some may think they hear the voice of the devil or their dog telling them to do things but this is delusional).
Anyway, I believe in God, even if I've never heard Him speak. I believe in things I have never seen or heard. That's what faith is.

Yes God is a voice all around not only in your head, but besides that, these voices that u hear are the voices of Satan's and guess what? You are doing his job for him, bcuz u r ill minded.....crazy, coo-koo, just get yourself some help man

Think of the alternative, if I hear a voice and I don't think its god, then it means I'm crazy. I'd rather believe it was god.

because you don't have faith thats why you cant hear him...We don't have to prove to you but if you really want to hear him call out his name and ask him to talk to you...You will see for yourself,,it will be the soft voice you hear,,and his word always lines up with the word so after he says something look it up,,ask him to give you a scripture,,watch a see what you get read it to be amazed....

You can give that little voice any name you want. I call mine after my alter ego, Drewsilla. She's usually right about stuff, and has fun talking to the other little voices up there!!
