When it comes to the war in Iraq, it is long past the issue of Democrats or Republicans, Liberals or Conservatives- it is more an issue of our sons and daughters; many of those who may never get the chance to vote in another election. Besides, I have yet to see any of our elected "leaders" in a uniform fighting anywhere, let alone in Iraq.

What a stupid question. You ask it just to get a rise out of democrats. I can assure you that there are just as many brave (and cowardly) people on both sides of politics. Just because someone doesnt share your political point of view doesnt give you the right to blanket label them.

Seriously, get a life. I am an Australian, and i am sick of these stupid questions raised by dum red-neck americans who just blurt out whatever rubbish was swilling about in their pea sized brains at the time. You wonder why the world is constantly laughing at the USA? Its because the smart US citizens cant be heard for those idiots that need to have their mouths stapled shut.

Wow, where do they come up with this crap? Both of my brothers are serving in the Military. One is repukelican the other is democrap. BOTH swore an oath and duty to follow the orders of the Puppet President. I am affiliated with neither corrupt party, as I realize they are mirror images of each other and the dual party system has allowed the USG to bilk and rape the citizenry. I love the fact that most Iraq Vets are running as liberals, because even they realize that liberals, while as corrupt and immoral as conservatives, prefer making money to taking lives. Now, if only we could get REAL AMERICANS to run for office, with no affiliation to the corrupt political parties. This is my goal for the near future (10-20 yrs).

I think it's interesting that virtually no one in this administration served in Vietnam-George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove to name a few and they managed to convince the American public that Democrats are non-patriotic and John Kerry, who served, was some sort of coward.

It seems that many people don't understand that soldiers in uniform are never allowed to be political. Federal Law (Titles 10, 2, and 18, United States Code), Department of Defense (DOD) Directives, and specific military regulations strictly limit a military active duty person's participation in partisan political activities.

DOD defines "partisan political activity" as "activity supporting or relating to candidates representing, or issues specifically identified with, national or State political parties and associated or ancillary organizations."

You are, of course and once again, wrong.

Why are almost all the veterans coming home from Iraq running as Democrats?

Yea, when is Chelsea Clinton going to put on the Uniform and serve her country? Everyone is always saying "Why aren't Bush's twin daughters in the military?" Why isn't C. Clinton in uniform? Where are AL GORE's kids? Why aren't they in uniform? While we're are on the subject why aren't John F'n Kerry's kids all in the military? Since he was such a war hero. lol

Men and women in uniform should be non-political. Many of them are really too young to have formed strong political opinions, however very few return to civilian life as liberals.
