IIRC----heart-lung block transplant, that's one life saved; 2 kidneys donated gets 2 more lives (or a lot better quality of life; dialysis is awful!); liver is another; pancreas helps yet one more person....plus cadaver skin grafts to buy precious time for a burn victim's survival, plus corneal transplants to allow the return of vision....and that is NOT a complete list; see this link for lots more information www.organdonor.gov/faq.html#5
When I checked the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network site a minute ago, (www.optn.org), there were over 93,000 people on the waiting lists for organs.
If the Eternal LIKES for us to do nice things for each other (and most religious paths seem to indicate this is a Good Thing), it's surprising that organ donation isn't practically MANDATED in many faiths.
Again, IIRC, most Christian denominations have no objections to donation and I think that Reform and Reconstructionist Jews feel it's OK. Pagans/Wiccans don't have an organized set of doctrines (we're as contrary as cats!), but have never met a Pagan who was against donation.

God loves organ donation. Seriously, God loves organs and will give you a seat in Heaven if you donate a organ, preferably a pipe organ, but a rock organ will work as well.

I don't know the scripture but the bible says (in genesis I think) that God made us from the dust and when we die we return to the dust. It is your soul that goes to heaven. Christ teaches us to put others before ourselves. Organ donation is a wonderful thing. Some people aren't comfortable with it and that is ok. But if you are afraid about it because you are worried you won't go to heaven without all of your organs- don't be afraid. The gift of life is what God gave us.

Organ donation is Science/Medicine, due to human advancement. It works for Chritians, Atheists, Hindus, Muslims.
U know God is belief/faith and has nothing to do with science.
Why mix the two up. God is only for believers of that particular god.
Just like Religion and state there must be separartion of
Religion and Science too.

God considers it a good Deed and a way of Helping others to live longer, what he doesn't like is the high price that is charged for it. He don't mind recreating the part donated in the reserection of the Just. the levicial laws were concerning animals only for health and safety reason's as you had no throuogh way of cooking back then.now days it still stands due to salmonellea and ecoli

The bible does not say. It only mentions blood which it says it should be poured out. It mentions it in both Hebrew and also prohibition of partaking of blood in the Greek, so a true christian wouldn't take blood. There are certain things that are left up to our conciense but if you feel like it is wrong, then you are sinning against your conciense. So, it is up to the individual to determine certain things and organ donation would be one of them. But for health reasons, I would want to know where it is coming from and make sure that the person didn't suffer disease like Hepatitis, or AIDS.

i could not speak for God of course
but there are many reasons , in many religions why organ donation is not a good idea
in saying this , i dont know how i would react if my child needed one
i understand the suggested spiritual implications of it , but my love for my child may be greater if ever it happened

When it comes to questions like yours, Only God can say what He feels about that. One day we shall stand before Him, and then you can ask him dirrectly. But since He is greater than I am, I wont' try to guess or assume what He would say or feel about organ donation.
For me personally, I am not for it myself.

I think it depends on what tradition or religion you follow. I personally think that the idea of "anything I can do to help someone else, even in death, is a good thing" and it's a great example of "recycling", but for those religions that believe in a resurrection or certain types of afterlife that require a "whole" body, it wouldn't be a good idea.

I'm not sure about that, but everyone should be an organ donor. Don't listen to those sensational stories, sign up! Donate your organs, you won't need them!
