rear projection tv aged 2years old has a green tinged picture now is this bad

Dont listen to the other morons heres the real story. If that picture looks like the green is "fuzzy" and the whold screen likes kinda green, you need the coolant fluid changed in the blue and green CRT's If it simply looks like the tint is off then the set probalby needs the master screen controls re-adjusted to balance the colors out correctly due to age. Your tubes are not about to fail and it IS worth repairing. Being that set is 2 years old I very highly doubt CRT failure like those other wannabes are telling you

The projection device is failing. Green is the last color to go.

you could have speakers set close to the tv the magents in the speakers will effect the tv move them away and it should go away if not try and get it degauused

The red and blue guns are going out. Yes it is bad -a sign of emminent failure.
