First, some Christians in the west do support Hizballah. There are several liberal Christian groups that are strong supporters of the Palestines and other "non-Jew" groups in the middle east.
And not all people in the west are Christians. There are non-christian, and even some Muslims, who oppose Hizballah.
And not all Christians in the east support Hizballah. I have a Lebanesse Christian friend (minister in Lebanon) who is not a supporter of Hizballah. Neither he nor any of the several hundred members of his church have Hizballah flags on their homes.
Can I be convinced that you could find places where you could get TV shots where most to all of the houses have flags - yes. Anyone NOT displaying the flag during the recent fighting was likely to find their home invaded by Hizballah.
But you are mistaken in your statement that ALL western Christians oppose Hizballah, and that ALL eastern Christians or Lebonese people support Hizballah.

I can't imagine that people aren't afraid on both sides. But flying a flag won't protect someone who is known to be an enemy.
People who live in the area are going to know much more than we can know from a distance, especially getting our news through Western filters.
Supporting Hizballah may not be saying what we think. Neither side is completely right or wrong.

Christians are in the west because the land is better. It's not all desert like in the middle east.
Christians in Lebanon probably do have Hizballah flags in them. If they didn't they'd probably be considered enemies, and shot or blew up. It's not like they actually have a choice in the matter.

Maybe it's because Christians in the East are killed if they don't put a Hizballah flag in their house.

Could that be because they are afraid not to. Of course if its on TV it must be the absolute truth and not just a shot of a small area with flags. Whatever!
