Listen to the wind blow, and listen to the rain falling. Listen to the thunder in the sky. Listen to holy men, he speaks thru them, sometimes you have to really listen to understand these are words of God.
There are many ways to hear God.
When the sun rises so beautiful, he shouts have a great day.
We all have two sides to us. One side Satan is on, and he tells you to be hateful, deceitful, angry, unhappy, and revengeful.
The other side is where God is. He tells us to love and to have peace and to help our neighbors, and to believe in his son for eternal life.
It is like there is two wolves inside us, one good, one evil.
Which one wins?
The wolve you feed the most.
If you have the spirit of Christ within you, he will guide you sometimes when you are not even aware of it.
When a baby smiles, that is God speaking.
When someone is totally at peace within themselves and full of joy. That is God speaking.
God speaks to us in many ways.
I would suggest you read the Bible several times. You will find your answer there.

We can "hear" and "see" God's thoughts by reading what was recorded in His Word, the Bible. At 2 Tim. 3:16 & 17 it says: All Scripture is inspired of God, and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight..., that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipted for every good work." With such a wealth of information in the Bible, it is not necessary for God to speak directly to us.

If he really wants you to hear something, you can't get it out of your mind. You have been given free will, so you can know and recognize that it is from God, or you can hear and do whatever you want. Your choice. But be quiet and listen. You'll be surprised at how much he talks with you when you are listening for it.

Usually if you hear a voice within in yourself, something is making you say that. It may be god letting you know something.

Read the Books of John.Jesus said he would introduce you to the Father if you abide in his word. Also the fruits of the Spirit, look that up I don't remember where they are at,but if you know what to look for in them you will begin to understand the voice of God.I promise this,I went through the same thing and now it is impossible for someone to deceive me unless i fail to try the spirits whether they be of God.

Very simple, there will be a bright light, a burning shrubbery, and a booming voice will say unto thee "DUDE, STOP EATING THE MOLDY BREAD, IT IS MAKING YOU HALLUCINATE!!!" or some such, and you will have not only the basis for a new religion but certain knowledge that God personally has set a task for you.

We have telepathic and empathic ability. We sometimes just
"know" what someone wants. And sometimes even hear their voice in our minds.
Because we are taught these things are "bad", we are
uncomfortable with it. But it's just the natural ability of our spirit.
It can be a joy, but we must also realize there are beings who don't have our best interests at heart. As they have free will too.

Not directly. Metatron has to dictate for him. God's voice has the power to kill a man. Only Brian Blessed comes close to having such a voice.

By keeping our mouths shut and our hearts and minds open. It's amazing what we hear when we stop talking long enough to listen.
