Hi there...here are some suggestions that were posted on eHow.com: http://www.ehow.com/how_117308_cat-tree.html

It is important to remain calm if your kitten or cat gets caught in a tree. She is probably quite freaked out, and you, as the owner, need to help her calm down.
Instructions

STEP 1: Avoid mass panic. Given time and privacy, the cat will likely find a way down on her own. (Exceptions are if the cat is injured or if she has a leash wrapped around her neck; go to step 4 in those instances.)
STEP 2: If several hours have passed, try to lure the cat down by opening a can of her favorite food underneath the tree. Call out her name in a calm, reassuring voice.
STEP 3: Lean a wooden ladder up against the tree near the cat so she can climb down. Leave her alone with the ladder for at least 15 minutes so she can climb down on her own.
STEP 4: If the cat is too freaked out to use the ladder, put on work gloves and a thick coat to protect yourself and climb up the ladder to retrieve her. Make sure the ladder is stable before you climb it.
STEP 5: Grab the cat by the nape of the neck to reduce your chances of getting scratched and to induce calmness in the cat.
STEP 6: If your efforts only send the cat farther up the tree, call an animal shelter or a local humane society. A professional animal handler can rescue the cat quite quickly.

I wouldnt worry about it...it will climb down on it's own. But if it's crying in the tree, it's scared and must be "talked" to help it get down. Keep calling it and it will feel a little braver climbing down the tree.

Try this: stand under the tree, under the point where the cat is, so she can see you. Speak to her with calm voice, call her to come down - maybe you move a little by not losing eye-contact though - in order to show her the way to come down.

The principle is: through your presence you show the cat the way to come down!

My kitten used to climb up in a tree and i used a ladder and a string. Use the string to distract the kitten or draw them closer to you. Then grab them and hold them so that they are facing your shoulder. climb down carefully, and there you go.

The lure of food put down at the base of the tree from her normal dish will help.
But take heart in the fact you don't see dead cats up trees!
She WILL come down when she is ready!!!
Best of luck.

If it gets hungry enough it will come down. Or if you are worried you can always climb a ladder (CAREFULLY) to get it down. But don't worry to much most cats the go up eventually get cold and tired enough to come down.
