Yes, but I only give rawhides when the dog is being supervised closely. Never leave a rawhide out for your dog to chew on while you aren't home. I did have a recent scary moment of my olde english bulldogge female choking on one so I haven't been giving her anymore since then.
I recommend Nylabone products, Kongs, stuff like that to chew on more than rawhides. It's not worth the risk.

Yes if they are made of rawhide they are edible but some dogs may get sick from them and if they eat too large of parts of it they can cause problems for the dog.

yes but not to many their digestive system could get clogged and then you have problems
