First of all there is no such thing as "spot" exercise, those that target just one or two areas of the body. That is a myth. In order to tone your body you must work the entire body. That is unless your into body building with weights. But then if you work on just one area, you will end up looking like a freak.
You must work the whole body.
Treadmill is mostly just going to burn fat from your whole body while helping your heart and lungs, which is great. If you going to a gym, most have classes that offer workouts that would help.
One great way to slim and tone is swimming or a water exercise class. There is a machine that combines stair climbing with arm movements than is good. Any exercise that uses all you muscles and gets you sweating would be fine. But just using the treadmill is not the answer as you have stated.

If you would love to shed pounds the dangerous information is its highly tough to goal a detailed discipline as fats retail outlets are used up from far and wide the frame and no longer only one position. If it is tough to get the inducement my idea is do not do it an excessive amount of or too lengthy. Start useful. Ultimate fats loss comes while you're functioning at 60 to 70 % of your efficiency. Start off via consuming two glasses of water earlier than each meal (what you devour performs a most important position). SO...whilst you get house two glasses of water then directly into cozy garments and out for a forty five min - a million hr stroll. Not sprinting however no longer being lazy. if you'll be able to discover an discipline practically house that's slightly up and down. Also combine up in which u move. Do that three-four occasions every week and your to your means. As u get more fit make it more difficult. You'll discover at the days u do not stroll u wont consider as well.

If you have access to a gym or gym equipment, try to rotate some of the resistance machines into your cardio workout. I do cardio on the treadmill, bike or elliptical for 40 minutes..then I alternate which machines I use. Mon, Wed and Friday I will do leg curls, presses, extensions, chess press, shoulder press, and some dumbbell work for my arms. I don't do anything crazy just one rep of 15 on each machine...then on Tues and Thursday I use the crunch machine and do some leg lifts for my lower abs. This has really helped me firm up and slim down.

I'd recommend Yoga or Pilates.. They tone your body up, and Yoga is so relaxing. I'd recommend it for anyone. Oh and its not the exercise that's gets rid of the excess, if you exercise the arms and legs you build muscle out of the fat, therefore it looks like its still there.. I'd say healthy eating and equal exercise might help. it worked for me..xx
