why do we have to accept Jesus to be saved even if we believe in God, if they are one and the same ?
God sent down his only son, right? so there are two different entities at one point right? So essentially even if it is at one point why do people worship two entites, regardless of whether they represent the same being? In this case 2 different beings cannot equal one
Why did Jesus(pbuh) pray and have faith? As Lord does he need faith? As Lord Jesus does he need to pray?
Nowhere in the bible does it say that Jesus said worship me
My Father and I are one. This statement is open to interpretation, some people say it means he is God, however it could also mean he represents the word of God
I do not recall the verse, but a man approached Jesus calling him good, and Jesus replied noone is good but the Lord
Jesus was a human being in the sense he had human needs, he had to eat, sleep, he needed care from his mother

As Lord Jesus, he was tempted by the devil to break his fast, the devil tempting God? I would call that blasphemy

In conclusion, why is it so hard to define the essence of the Trinity? Shouldn't something that is so vital to a religion, perhaps the most important doctrine, be easily and readily understood?

I invite people to the way of Islam, God-willing you will not let stereotypes impair your views

how are you one with your wife, you two have clearly different interests, can be at two places at the same time, and are two different beings. Jesus and God were at two places at once, this being one with your wife is served to deceive you

The trinity doctrine is man-made and it had it's beginning in ancient Babylon, The Babylonians did not worship the one true God, but triads of gods, shown in historical pictures having three heads.
People should consider what the Bible really teaches about the identity of God and his Son and God's active force or power.
Here is something to think about also:
Jesus was dead for the better part of three days. If Jesus is God and was dead for that long--then who was ruling in heaven all that time? If the holy spirit is also God, then it was dead too. So there would have been no God alive to pray to those three days, no God to do anything for anyone. Satan could have taken over the entire universe since "God" was dead. Satan is powerful and could have caused complete chaos for the earth, worse than we see now, if there was no God more powerful to prevent him from doing so.
This Scripture also shows that Jesus cannot be God--""No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." (Mark 13:32 ) NIV
If Jesus were God who knows all things, then he would know the day and hour, but he doesn't because Jesus is not God. And the holy spirit is not even mentioned.
Christendom has misled so many people by teaching them such a false pagan doctrine. If only people could come to know the true God (Psalms 83:18) and who he really is. Jesus tried to tell people about his Father and that they should worship his Father alone.
Two reasons people believe in such doctrines are found at
2 Timothy 4:3-4--"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." and at John 12:39-40--"Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again: “ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”
And you are correct when you question Satan tempting Almighty God--No one could ever do that, but Satan could tempt God's Son and he tried.
I hope this answer helps.

John 1:1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."
John 1:14
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

I say, that the Word WAS God and then the Word became flesh and is Jesus. So it says that Jesus started off being God and then he became a separate being. Just like a yoke comes from an egg. Still you must respect Jesus because the bible says that every knee shall bow before Jesus when he comes again on the last day.
1 John 4:3
"but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world."

No thanks and if you are going to quote the word do it properly because Jesus said, why call me good there is none good save God.The only way Jesus or us are good is to be doing Gods will.As far as the trinity it is not hard to understand with spiritual ears,God is the Father,Jesus is the word of God made flesh, and the Holy Spirit is the very attitude of God. The word also says that Jesus was made perfect through the things he endured. My Lord and savior Jesus came to bring man back into a relationship with the Father by setting an example of obedience to the Father from which Adam through his disobedience fell.

God became human to demonstrate His love toward us.
If was an ultimate act of love and humility. God lowering Himself enough to be born in a dirty inn and lain in a manger....awesome.
Also, we need His intercession because we are none righteous. He provide a "bridge" for us to God. He is God..but we could never understnad the relationship they have in our human minds. We'll have all these answers one day but I think its perhap best if we dont question things our minds cant comprehend. The Trinity of Father, Son, Holy Ghost is the ONLY WAY and the Bible makes that very clear...so why dont we just get busy about the Father's Business?

When satan tempted Jesus that was just to show us that when Jesus was here, although He was w/out sin...He still faced temptations as a man....if He wasnt part human...the persecution He went through wouldnt have meant as much. It was also to show us that Jesus told Him to get behind Him....it all already belonged to Him.

Jesus ROCKS!!

Jesus (pbuh) and the disciples were practising Jews. ANY jew will tell you that the trinity is nonsense. Are Christians trying to say that the jews recieved all those Prophets and not one of them made the trinity clear to them?...please!

Jesus is a Prophet of Allah. The trinity developed under the Roman Empire due to the influence of greek and roman methology were a god-man was common belief.

Jesus prayed in the Bible putting his face in the ground. He also fasted which is an act of worship. He said to the father 'may your will be done' so he is clearly subodinate, and has a different will to the father (not possible if they are both God) He said that only the Father knows when the Hour is, the Father knows things that the Son does not know yet there are both God? does that make sense..will they not reason?

Christians quote john 1:1 3:16 etc because they are ignorant of the source of the gospels. Christian scholars state that John is the most unreliable gospel, not least because it was written 100-120 years after Jesus. John 1:1 etc is just the gospel writers opinion, not the words of Jesus. At this stage the unitarian church was being undermined by the trinitarian doctrine that was spreading through the powerful roman empire.

It's not hard to define trinity doctrine. 3 versions of the same entity existing at the same time for all eternity. "In the beginning there was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God" John 1:1

There was never a point where God "split." He just was always 3 in 1.

this has been disputed much in the past. the answer is actually simple... there are three parts to the holy trenity. god the father, god the son, and god the holy spirit. now god the father is not god the son, and god the son is not god the holy spirit, and god the holy spirit is not god the father. if you think of it like this the bible says one man and one woman shall cleve together to make one flesh (marriage) now when they are married do they make some freakish siamese twin? or are they separate? but when they have children who are they to listen to the mother or the father? the point is the mother and the father should have a mutual agreement on governing their children thus being one entity. god the father, god the son, and god the holy spirit all have a mutual agreement between one another on what is decided at all times because of their close bond so you are to accept christ as your savior because he took what we deserve (death) and gave us what he deserved (life everlasting) we are to worship him who made the heavens and the earth being the three combined if you read genesis it doesnt say he made man in his image it says let US make man in OUR image so all three were there from the beginning along with the plan of salvation even before origional sin

The short answer is that Jesus (pbuh) said so.

If you refuse to worship God as he has revealed himself, then you are spreading lies about God, and you are not really worshiping God at all. God is what God says that he is; God is NOT what man says that he is.

Why do we have to believe that Muhammad is a prophet in order to be saved? And why do people insist that Nuhamand is a prophet, when he made prophcies that even Muslum admit are FALSE? (see the first link, below) Can God lie, or make a mistake? Think about it.

well, I appreciate the invitation, but i do not agree with muhammad or his teachings. I am a Christian who also has had a bit of trouble disecting the trinity issue. There are many places in the bible which seem to state (SEEM to state) that Jesus is the son, God is the father, they are seperate, but there are just as many places that seem to state that they are one, im still not quite sure, but hopefully Ill get there
