I think some folks are so strident and fanatic in their beliefs that they can not relax, or allow others to find happiness in a belief system other than their own. I find this especially true of people who are new to a faith, other than those who were raised in a belief. Maybe they don't have a sense of security in their own belief that allows them to hear the views of others. A very complex question, I must say!!

People are usually thinking of whatever their emotional state has stirred up inside of them. Emotions rule most people and they are not in control of their minds because of this. Fear is a big motivator and occupies the time of a lot of people these days. And their thoughts are products of these fears.

Which category do I fit into, Daisy??I don't claim to know what goes through people's heads, or why we act as we do. Wish I could be of help, but I cannot.
