I have a Nissan Altima 06 with just a cd player and would like to connect my iriver to it so that i can enjoy hours of music. Some of the options i have is -

FM tuners transmitters ( but the quality sucks )
Audio Tape Transmitter ( good quality but i dont have a cassette player)

What other better options are there which has the best sound quality?

If you have a tape deck, the easiest way to go is with a cassette adapter. If you have an aftermarket CD player (that is, one that you had installed after purchasing the car), it may have RCA jacks in the front or the back where you can connect an MP3 player with an RCA-to-1/8-inch stereo plug cable. Certain stereos even have a direct line-in jack, which looks just like a headphone jack, so you can just use a 1/8-inch-to-1/8-inch cord. Unfortunately, most stock systems do not have RCA or line-in jacks, in which case you're stuck with the FM transmitter method. I recommend the iRock Beamit 440FM wireless music adapter.

The easiest would be the two you mentioned, and I have yet to see a bluetooth-based adapter to connect a non-blue-tooth mp3 device to a non-blue-tooth car audio system, so you'll have to be patient for high-fidelity wireless. Then again...we're talking mp3's here, which aren't exactly the pinnacle of high fidelity. But if you want really clean lines, my fave is to hardwire in an adapter. Cheap and easy. And if I were you, I'd hardwire it to do power and audio in...that way in the future you can switch to something that could draw power from the car rather than battery. Don't splice...that's ghetto, and leads to corrosion, then you wonder why your electricals are on the fritz. Always use connectors. Peace.
