the bible has contradictions if you go to the primary source, however the qur'an doesn't have any contradctions unless you use a secondary source and anyone who is willing to argue that talk to me
Who incited David(pbuh) to count the fighting men in Israel
God did (2 Samuel 24:1)
Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1)

to the fellow that posted the skeptics website, you cannot do proper study of the qur'an in another language, so that is inherently faulty, with this said, people take the hint about the bible

May the truth prevail. I for one, am sick of seeing all this BS about how Islam is 'Evil'. They say that about my faith too, when in actuality they know next to nothing about it (except a bunch of lies). Asking most Christians to respect another faith, is really a waist of time. They like to learn their lessons the hard way. Personally, I think that if your beliefs make you a better person, then so be it. But if they make you hateful & intolerant of others, then you should take a look at your belief system. The only right one, is the one that allows you to live in peace and harmony with your sisters & brothers of the world! ; )
Blessed Be....

As a student of the Bible, and a respecter of your beliefs, I have to admit, you raise a good question. I'll have to look into it and do some research.
Thank you for the challenge.
ADDED:
Ok, after doing some research and reading over both texts in the original Hebrew, I see the misunderstanding. In 1 Chron 21:1 it clearly states that Satan is provoking David, and this is true, he is proviking him. But in 2 Sam 24:1 it is not as clear. it states: Again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah--
The word "Again" carries us back to the former tokens of His wrath in the three years' famine [2Sa 21:1]. God, though He cannot tempt any man (Jas 1:13), is frequently described in Scripture as doing what He merely permits to be done; and so, in this case, He permitted Satan to tempt David. Satan was the active mover, while God only withdrew His supporting grace, and the great tempter prevailed against the king. (See Ex 7:13; 1Sa 26:19; 2Sa 16:10; Ps 105:25; Isa 7:17

Samuel and Chronicles are written by two different authors. They are looking at the various scenarios from a different perspective. A very serious study of the Bible from different souces such as the Hebrew and the Greek(Septuagint) will bare this out.

actually it never says god did it says "the anger of the lord" the actual hebrew words have a different meanting than we can translate it to so scholars back then placed it the closest thing they could. as far as i know the Qur'an has always remained in the same tongue, i could be wrong about that though. i like this question i would like to see more like this ^_^

Existence itself has many contradictions. Existence itself IS a contradiction. Being and non-being both exist and non-exist together. No scripture is required to know that or not know that. If existence itself is not self-consistent why should we expect an accounting of existence to be? Chew on that....or not....for a while.

Of course, the Bible could NOT be saying that Satan was directly responsible, while God allowed Satan to tempt David (and thus "caused" it by proxy).
Nope. No way.

The bible contains no contradictions. One must have the Holy Spirit to understand the bible, you have to take things in context and there is a different covenant in the old testament and the new testament. Try trading the new testament, but it will still be a challenge if you don't have the Holy Spirit, which only comes to those who have accepted Jesus as their personal savior.

I think you've actually proven the point of most non-believers. You are denouncing a book that has fallacies and promoting your own which probably has fallacies also. Are you trying to help or hurt your case.
