My boyfriend broke up with me because other girls liked him. First, he told me he was leaving because his mom didn't like me, but I later found out about the girls. He told me he wanted to see what else was out there for him. Is this wrong? And he says he still loves me. Should we still be friends?
I know he made a big mistake, but I still love him and I couldn't imagine my life without him in it.

Well, there isn't much that you can do. If he feels that he did not find what he is looking for be the adult in the relationship and let him go to find that someone. All you can do is be the friend there for him when he needs one. But don't take him back. If he was the idiot in making the decision to leave something as special and as valuable as you then let him be the idiot to live his life without the pleasure of you having you by his side. Be strong girl. It is guys like him that breaks us girls down. Don't worry Mr Right will definitely find you. Love just did not figure out how to read that map yet. You should never let any guy play head games with you. It sounds to me like maybe your in High School, or just joined high school. If you did then he's probably noticing all a bunch of other girls in the bigger grades, and his mind is racing right now. I know that's pretty much what happened to my brother when he first Joined high school.
As for him breaking up with you because of those other girls, is wrong. But, he also doesn't need to be telling you that he still loves you because then you feel like you can't move on. What I think you should do, is go your own way, and let him wonder what your doing and thinking. Play hard to get.
For your last question, there is no reason why you can't be friends, but only if it's a hi, or how are you when walking by him. Show him you don't care, and most everytime they will come crawling back to you. I hope this helps you out. Let me know how it goes.

MOVE ON. If it's meant that you two should be together it will happen. Let him see life in his own way w/o you. Sounds like he just wanted out. You don't need to be with a guy who's not that into you.

well, if he truly loved you, he would not care about what else might be out there. so that is out the window. but if you love him, give him a chance. but i'll warn you, if you want him that way, a friendship will make you miserable. so, yeah.
if he wants you back, give it a go.
just don't give it 7 goes. next time, MAYBE a third, tell him now or never, not at all or forever.

If he wants to be with you, then be with him. But don't let that wall down. He's not trustworthy and is sounds like you guys are young, so it's to be expected that he wants to date around and see what is out there. Don't get hurt. If he lies/cheats, never ever go back with him b/c he'll keep on cheating.

A guy like this is always going to be curious. You need someone that loves you for who you are and not for just RIGHT NOW. This guy could bring you a diesease if he continues to be unfaithful.

You still love him girl, but face reality, he no longer wants you. Live with it. If he wants to "see what else is out there", it is clear you no longer satisfy him enough to keep him away from "what's out there". Move on girl.

He is definitely not ready to settle down with one woman. He knows other women find him attractive and he won't commit to just one until he weighs out his other options. Find a man who is happy with u and doesn't have his eye wandering around to find something better.
