if you have a windows based system... go to control panel, click on system, click on device manager, scroll down until u c ur USB click on the + sign to drop a list of ur usb drives and if u right click on the each of the USB drives and click on properties u can see what they are either 1.0 or 2.0 and the best way to know the location is to plug something into each usb drive because right above where it says what the usb drive is on the power tab- it will tell u what is plugged in so u can tell the location of that specific USB
