he lives across the street from me..he asked me out and i told him no because i didnt think it was right to date my brothers best friend...now i like him....but i dont kno how he still feels about me..i dont want to ask him and make it obvious..so what do i do?

this is realy quite hard to say but i dont know why youre nervous just tell him you like him you said something seriously wrong last time can i go out with you still? something like that o right give that girl eye that allways makes the guy say yes.

Well you should just ask him, there's just no real way of getting around it. If you like the guy, then ask an hopefully he still digs you.
just let him know that you're interested in him, and if your brother is really protective of you about being around his friends let your brother know as well because he may try to come between you two especially if your brother doesn't think he's right for you, that's a decision you have to make for yourself and not your brother.

Girl please! This is 2006! Ask him out!!! You can be suttle about it though, I asume your school has ballgames? If so, next time they have one, and your brother and friend goes, ask if you can go hang with them! If not a ballgame, go somewhere with them,After you reach a comfort zone, just say something like, you know I think I made a bad mistake by not going out with you, you really are fun/aewesome/cool/ect.. Pick your own word!
If they don`t ever leave when you are around, go where they are and in a sisterly way.. Just say something like, I am starved! You 2 wanna go get something to eat, if one of them drives, say will you give me a ride, hey I`m buying! Then go to BK or McDonalds..someplace local!

You wait for him to make the first move. Why? because if he does your question about knowing if he still cares , will be answered. If he does not then, accept the truth. You can also know more about him from your brother. Being your brother's best friend, perhaps your bro will be thankful that you will be dating someone he knows personally.

FIRST ask your brother, to make sure it isn't going to step on his feet. Because if you guys go out. And he breaks your heart or the other way around your brother will be caught in the middle. He will still hang out with his friend and your heart will be broken and you will be mad at your brother for hanging out with him still. Other wise try it out. Just make sure you will be ok with the fall out and your brother still haning out with the guy if it doesn't work out.

the best way is to ask him... in a way you humiliated him, now you need to be unselfish and ask him, you might be humiliated doing it, but you never know, he could still really care for you... love is never selfish... don't waste time trying to figure it out, just go ask, you'll get your answer... tell him how you feel, and that you were stupid... the truth is the best thing you could give him!! ihope this works out for you!

It did'nt stop me, cuz I married my brothers' best friend 22 yrs later, and we're still married. If it's meant to be, let it happen. At least let him know how you feel. Good luck.

make sure that your brother is cool with it and then see if he stills like you, if he does and your brother says it's cool then you can have a good relationship with him

you're going to have to...you turned him down once...and one time is enough to scare someone off...since you had the change of heart, you're going to have to be the one that takes the initiative and asks him out
