I let my license get suspended for the 2nd time. The first time it was suspended for letting my insurance lapse on a financed car.

This time, it was due to several tickets that I didn't get a chance to pay yet. ($450 worth). Will there be a warrant out for my arrest, or any other reprocussion, or can I just pay them when I get the cash?

Danny, Most of the time the Court does not issue a warrant for failure to pay tickets in a timely fashion. When they do issue warrants it is because you have failed to appear before a Judge regarding one or all of your tickets if going to Court was required. THE law may be different in your state.

Further, more than likely your state has suspended your driver's license because you have failed to pay these tickets. So, if you get pulled over you may very well go to jail.

I would contact the Court immediately and see what they will let you pay and if they will be willing to extend the payment deadline. They may help you with this or they may not, since the tickets are already past due.

Good Luck and Take Care

Yes, you most likely have warrants and it will probably cost you a lot more than $450 now. They will charge you for the tickets, a failure to appear charge for each ticket, plus the warrant fees for each ticket. You'll need to go to the courthouse and make payment arrangements before you get pulled over for something else and arrested.

No, you're an unwanted criminal.

But seriously, you do have warrants out for your arrest due to the unpaid tickets. You really need to go down to the courthouse and make arrangements to pay them. They won't arrest you there. They'll just schedule a payment plan and lift your warrants.

Contact the courts. You most likely DO have a warrant out. Hopefully, you are not driving now on a suspended licence. If you are, and you get stopped for any infraction, you would most likely be arrested (handcuffs & all) and THEN you would HAVE to take care of this issue.

Contact the court there and make arrangements to make payments. They will let you. But yes, odds are you have a warrant out for your arrest for nonpayment of the tickets.

Those are grounds for a warrant, I suggest contacting the court and making payment arrangements immediately.

If you were argueing with the police about everything you've done in the past about your tickets you will have to go to court over this. You are probably a wanted criminal.
