Yes we should show as much support for our soldiers over seas fighting this war for us. Even if we ourselves don't have a loved one over there. All the men and women are fighting for OUR country. Most of them take great pride in what it is there doing there. Some don't. Some do believe they are making a differnce. Some look at it as there doing it now so maybe there children wont have to risk losing there lives for our country. So yes yes yes we should always show as much support as possiable..

Without looking at the links, and just answering the question written, my answer is yes, the troops should get more support, regardless of what one thinks of the war in general. The troops are only following orders by their superiors, they didn't cause or start the war. The nice thing is that, at least in some areas, troop support by the general population is actually quite high. But if the media reported that, they'd lose their point.

I help the troops everywhere. between the relaxing issues I do is as quickly as I see some troops out ingesting lunch i'm getting to their waiter/waitress and pay for his or her food. I tell the waiter/waitress to no longer enable them to appreciate who did it yet to tell them it became from somebody who appreciates their provider to the rustic. Then I take a seat decrease back and wait. The look on their face whilst they're advised they have been given a unfastened lunch is properly worth it. attempt it it sluggish.

Absolutely we should support our troops. But lying to them and saying that everything is peachy-keen in Iraq isn't any good either.
We need to be honest with them, apologize and show our sorrow at sending them off without proper intelligence and planning, and try to bring them home as quickly as possible.
It's the least we can do.

We don't see everything our troops see... good or bad. They are performing their duty, and all the American press seems to care about is our losses, and graphic violence. I've got news for ya, it's a war... there will be loss and violence. If we show our troops that we care, we miss them, we believe in them - it goes against everything the stupid media is throwing around and actually boosts morale.

Most definitely. People forget that the soldiers are fighting for the freedom that most people take for granted. They are fighting so that the people in Iraq have the same freedom to disagree with their governments as those in America do.

YES! They've chosen to live their lives protecting total strangers and the people that don't support them are very selfish and uncaring people and obviously care nothing about if their family is hurt.

DEFINITELY! and the best way to show support is to THANK a serviceman or servicewoman any time and any where -- for protecting OUR freedoms that we all enjoy as Americans.
