Do they ever feel like they are only following Christianity because it is the expected route or because it has been taught to never question your faith- that questioning your faith is only Satan trying to creep into your mind? Christians: Have you ever wondered "what if I die and that's it, I'm dead?" or are you so devout that you would never even dare question God's existance?

I have asked myself this question a few times...im only 22 now and ive asked it before when I was younger too.

It's natural to have doubt in something that you can't PROVE

Dont feel bad about it just ask yourself "what do I WANT to believe"

yes sometimes more than a second. Then He will do something in your life that reminds you that He is there and alive. if I die and that is it what have I lost. What some do not understand that you do not have to stop living to believe. Non believers think oh you can't drink, smoke, have any fun at all. That is simply not true. Those that adhere to this lifestyle are following the rules of a man made RELIGION. I know that God exists because of the thins HE has done in my life. No way it was by chance or circumstance. so to answer your question do I sometimes wonder, sure. If I die and there is no heaven well I'm dead I won't know, however if non believer dies to find out that there is well..........

I think that the VAST majority of people will question God's existence at one time or another. Actually, I think it is healthier to question and then decide one way or the other, than it is to have such unwavering belief that you never question at all. For example, humans believed unquestioningly for thousands of years, that the earth was flat. Without questioning this preconceived notion we would never have discovered the truth. With God, the "truth" may not be as obvious to some, but it is a similar idea. How can you know absolutely that something is true unless it is challenged?

Devout is the problem word.
It is just about impossible to discuss the existence of their god, as they are conditioned not to listen to reason and they simply don't want to hear anything said against their life choice.
Almost an impossible task.
One day, way after I have died and rotted away, these religions will also have completely died out . I only wish that they had never started! That said, the muslims will take a few thousand years more before someone sees sense - if they ever will.
Truly DEVOUT believers only believe in what they believe and nothing but nothing will shake them. They do not question. Fools.

You have valid questions, and I think you've been taught some misconceptions.

Of course we're allowed to doubt. It's natural. It's going to happen. God also welcomes questions, contrary to popular belief. There are multiple stories in the Bible of people questioning God in the face of miraculous events happening right in front of their eyes.

I've only met a few pastors, but they've dealt with doubt from time to time and they teach us that it's normal. It's even somewhat encouraged. If you doubt, but eventually continue on your path, you know your faith is strong. Not everyone's is.

I think following any religion is hardly "expected" in our society today. It's looked down upon.

If I die, and I was wrong all along, I've lived a much happier life. My life was horrible and filled with depression before I knew God. I'm so happy now, that those days hardly seem real to me anymore. I have so many friends and I love and appreciate my family so much more now. So, if I was wrong (and I'm sure I'm not), what harm would it be to me or anyone else?

The scarier question would be, what if I'm right? If I'd ignored the love, blessings, joy and grace that God offers to me while alive, I'd have lived a depressed, empty, often destructive life for no reason. I'd also be risking the loss of eternal life. Why would that be better?

I've seen God work in my life. Having experienced that, the occasional question can't take my faith away. I know that we go on because I've encountered God.

I'm a christian .... well, I think I am. Every now and then I always tend to ask myself if God really exist and what does he really like us to do. The bible states that we shouldn't question God but then again how can we really prove if there's really this one and only God that controls all of us when there are so many forces in our day to day lives that is controlled by the things we, human beings do.

I have never doubted God's existence in the 30 years I've known him.I found God,or rather He found me,when I was 9 years old.Noone in my family ever spoke of God to me,not because they didn't believe in Him,but because they just weren't religious people at that time, and God just never came up in conversations. My Grandmother was a Christian, but I didn't get to see her much, though she was the first person to ever take me to church.I said this just to show that my belief in God wasn't drummed into me from relatives or any outside influences. It was a choice I made of my own volition at a very young age.I would be lying if I said I didn't have many doubts over the years, but never about God's existence.Never.I've seen God's Hand at work in my life too many times to not believe. My doubts mainly stemmed from hardships in my life and the lives of my loved ones.Such as why did this have to happen,or that have to happen. And every time,God would bring me through it,a stronger and better person.Any time now I go through something and am tempted to ask God why,I look back and remember all the times He brought me out of hard times, and all that I've learned from them, and I simply say "Your will be done,God."There's never any need to question God.He knows what is best for us,and He makes sure we get it if we are faithful to Him,and that's all I ask.

Yes, most people have a hard time accepting God generosity.
For most Christians it is only a quick thought since most of us sinners realize our weakness we, at times, feel unworthy of Gods Grace.

The problem is based on our guilt over sin's we have committed. Therefore, we have a hard time forgiving ourselves so it's obvious you have a hard time accepting some one named Jesus Christ would die so our sins would be forgiven.

No matter what, I know in my heart, I will go to heaven when I die. I worry about my conduct in daily life and try to live as I should. Although unsuccessful I still try to do as I should.

Do you want an answer from a Christian? The way you posed your question seems to be asking others who are not christians to give opinions about something they know nothing about...

I am a CHRISTian. Of course we have questions, and doubt, yet we have so much evidence, and then of course faith and God's Word that we dont have it for long..

Whatever God or existing Gods are all your senses feeling outside of your body. If you are walk out from your body, what will you be? Is there any god or are you god? If power is god, then lightning and natural disaster is god. If wise is god, there will be so many god in the world.
