This is a great wedding theme and I have alot of ideas for you. Theres many creative things you can do for a wedding with this theme. For seat assignments: buy little small bottles with cork in them and place the name/number of where you would like each guest to sit. You can fill it with sand, a little note, or candy. If you have a large budget you can fill the reception hall with fake palm trees. Use exotic looking flowers for your wedding. Have the guest dress in hawaiian shirts and tropical -like garments. Have tropical exotic drinks. I hope this helps and I wish you the best.

Cutsey theme weddings in churches aren't cool. Tropical decorations for the reception is good.

A beach themed cake. There are designs with beautiful lounge chairs on top, some others with sea shells and star fish decor.

For centerpieces you can use Lanterns with tea light in the middle.

For party favors, there are candles with little star fishes in. Youc an also put together beach bags filled up with flip flos, sun screen and a beach towel.

For place card holders, there are little lounge chairs, thy are so cute

Congrats and good luck

wear a white, not floor length halter dress.
put pretty tropical flowers in your hair.
have your fiance wear a tropical print button up, or something a little more dressy from somewhere like banana republic or hollister.
put one or two nice palm trees in the church, but dont over do anything. just give it a little taste
have your boquet be something tropical or exotic, dont do roses or anything.
good luck! HAVe FuN!!
