Are you going to blame the entire military because of the actions of four men? Does that make any logical sense? That is just like saying an entire town is guilty because one man raped a woman. Also, these men are innocent until proven guilty.

Yes it is disgusting. But what does a group of bad soldiers have to do with the invasion? Are you saying that Bush sent our troops in to rape Iraqi women? Get a grip! These men are criminals and were unfortunately in the US Armed forces --they are facing punishment (hopefully execution) and will be dealt with as war criminals are. Unless of course some bleeding hearts and the ACLU want to claim that 'they' are victims and they never would've raped had it not been for Bush sending them to Iraq in the first place. They will sue on these maggots behalf and set them free to rape again.

Not sure what you're all upset about. Chances are just as good, or better, they'd have been sent to Saddam's rape rooms, tortured and murdered, if he hadn't been ousted. Except then you wouldn't have cared - because you didn't care about the 1,000's and 1,000's of women and girls who were raped, tortured and murdered prior to the US-led invasion.
In every war, even the 'good' ones, soldiers have committed crimes. The US has punished these criminal actions. The regime you didn't want out of power didn't punish people who raped, tortured and murdered - they rewarded them!
This is the criminal action of one person. It is against all policies, rules and laws for him to have done this, and he is being appropriately punished.
So, why feign all this caring for people you would gladly have left in the oppressive clutches of Saddam?

It's being prosecuted.
No one is defending it.
Do you really think a handful of scummy criminals should drive our entire Iraq policy? It's ridiculous.
Clinton harrassed women. Kennedy drowned a woman. Does that mean no Democrat should ever be elected?
Really, this is absolutely idiotic. You could not come up with a more irrelevant and illogical question if you tried.

I can tell you are a liberal, do you know how I know? your thought process is completely irrational. People die in every war even women and children sometimes more people die if you try to avoid a war our reluctance to get involved in WW11 until we were bombed by the Japanese cost the European continent over 30 million dead.

Men rape women and girls everyday in every country---are soldiers somehow suppose to be above all that? Yes its horrible and I hope they are punished. I really don't see how this relates to invading Iraq or not.

I don't think it was right to invade Iraq. We went to war based on George Bush's lies so that he and his friends could enrich themselves. 655,000 dead Iraqi later we are still there. 2800 dead Americans and we must stay the coarse. Many many more wounded and disfigured for life. Bush and his friends are still making millions if not billions off of this war so I don't look for any resolution soon and the death toll is sure to rise.

well, the same theory holds for being over there, its better to have the iraqis blown up by terrorists flooding into that country than coming over here to kill americans. Those horny soldiers would be raping girls over here if they werent doing it there.

yea,
reading about that stuff makes me sick, but the fact is it happens everywhere...not to say that makes it ok, because its not. Soliders are doing it to other soliders and civilians right here in the states, its just made more evident because its in Iraq.
