after sometime, yes...hairs are the fastest growing cells in the body and when u undergo chemo, it usually suppresses the immune system...thus, slowing down the replication of our cells as well, to decrease as well the replication of cancer cells...so one of the effect can be best seen on the hair..hope this helps.

I think it's different for everyone. A dear friend of mine went through chemo a couple years ago when she discovered she had breast cancer. It was strange because she lost all the hair on her body, but somehow didn't lose the hair on her head. And most people I know of lose the hair on their head first and foremost.

I had two rounds of chemo and I only lost the hair on my head during the second round.

yes. my aunt went through chemo, lost most of her hair, and for some reason, her pubes never grew back after she stopped the chemo. (the rest of her hair grew back)

Some people lose NO hair during chemo........however, it is NOT uncommon to lose all hair on your body.......arm pit, leg, pubi, etc.

You can...people that lose hair will tend to lose it all over their body.

yes you loose all your hair, on your head, eyebrows, legs, arms etc.
