No, it's not wrong. If it helps your fiancee go through this then go!

oh, no--it's not wrong for you to attend, even if you didn't know the friend. It's very appropriate to go with your fiance in a situation like this as his support.

Of course you should be there, for your boyfriend. He will need your support. All you have to say to the family of the young man is how sorry you are for their lose. It is at times like this, that our loved ones need our support the most - if the shoe were on the other foot you'd want him to be there for you. It doesn't matter that you didn't personally know the deceased. Your boyfriend may need to talk or he just may need a hand to hold to feel grounded. At times like this we feel our own mortality.

I went through the exact same thing, I went to be his support but I felt really awkward because I was just looking around I had no connection with the program which was kind of good because I was able to be strong for my man while he was upset. So I say go and support him. He will appreciate it.

You should go just because your finance asked you to. He needs you right now and if you don't give him that support now when he needs you, if make affect your relationship in the long run. He might even call off the wedding! Think about it? People do strange things when they're emotional. You need to be there for him if you love him.

Your fiancee wants your support at this time. It's hard to lose a friend so young. It's okay that you didn't know him. This person was obviously very important to your fiancee.
If you can make it I'd go. If your working and you can't get the time off then I'd explain that to him.
Right now he needs your support. So go with him.

personally - you should go. it will be a support to your boyfriend and a testament to the young fella's parents. there is the great possibility that this wil have an effect on your finacee especially if this is the first funeral and more so if it's the first funeral for a friend -- it brings our own mortality into light.
God bless!!

I don't see how this would be wrong at all. Your fiance needs you right now and you need to be by his side. His friend was a very important part of his life and since you are also apart of his life now it just makes sense for you to go. My regards...

I think you should go.
Just imagine it had to be your best friend that passed on wouldnt you like the support of your significant other even if he didnt know the person.Support and Caring goes along way and its small things like this that determines how your future with him will be.
I personally dont like funerals but if my boyfriend should ask me for my support doesn t matter what it is. I ll be there for him.
and i think you should to.
