I don't the anus is equipped for this kind of use so you may get a loose sphincter.

Alot of gay men actually have to have surgery to have their butt muscles surgically tightened after years of having anal sex and straight people also. It may take afew years of anal sex before surgery is needed, but it will be needed if anal sex is extremely frequent. Even sporatic anal sex, your running the risk of severe infections from the bactiria that lives in the colon being spread to other parts of your body (vagina, mouth ect). It's a poop shute, not a play ground. The muscles in the anus are for expelling from within the body and so for "any" foreign object, penis or otherwise to be entering into the anus, your going to have risks of tears, bleeds, hemoroides, fissures and many other nasties.

It doesn't have any negative effect on many...that's an individual thing. If it's consenual and done carefully, without pain/trauma there's no reason there should be any negative effect.
I've known many women who said anal sex was the best they've ever had. Apparently they suffered no negative aftermath.

No. If it's done properly, and by a man who doesn't have a gigantic penis, it shouldn't be painful. Many women find it extremely pleasurable. There are normally no long term effects.

Besides tearing of tissue and sometimes bleeding......it's terribly painful...ouch! I never understood this. If it's your thing, just remember to ALWAYS BE SAFE no matter what kind of sex you are practicing!
