They're looking for a favorable reaction out of you, if you act jealous they think you are in to them, and thats what they are hoping for

I don't personally do that but I think it's a power trip. They like the way they can messs with your emotions & actions. A lot of things are stupid but people do them anyway.

maybe try to make you jealous idk of a girl in her right mind who just made a guy jealous!! you cant do that without having a base.
like you were her ex-bf or something thats a reason. . . not a no- reason!!
