Fruit diets are not great because they don't provide all the nutrients you need and they are not long lasting due to the sugar. Start cutting back on your portions of food and see what happens. Force yourself to go out for a walk. If you are this sluggish go to the doctor and have a thyroid check.

the first thing is to find a place that has good quality fruit (Whole Foods is my first choice and Publix is second) and understand that although you can get a lot of fruit year round they dont all test good year round. As an example, strawberries are best in the spring because that's the season (southeast anyway), however, you can get strawberries year round, but they wont taste as good off season. Right now, i eat a lot of apples (gala, honeycrisp, pink lady) and pears (bartletts are a good standard because the skin isnt thick and they are sweet, other pears such as Danjou are good but the skin is a little thicker), and bananas. If I want some variety I make a smoothie. I keep frozen strawberries and blueberries on hand. I dont have a recipe but if I was to make a single serving I'd take half a banana, probably a half cup of vanilla yogurt, a handful each of strawberries and blueberries, and then add just a splash of OJ. It's a big smoothie but they are good with any meal. If I need a quick meal I'll serve smoothies with eggs and toast or a frozen pizza. Good luck.

The best diet fruit is grapefruit. Most people eat the ruby red type because it is sweeter but I have heard that the other type will make you lose more quicker. There is some truth to that old saying -An apple a day will keep the doctor away. I used to eat an apple with every meal because it is natural sweet, cleans your teeth, has less calorie than candy and is cheaper than the candy. I also like strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. My grandmother used to slice up strawberries and bananas, toss in a few blueberries and sprinkle with sugar for dessert.
I have got to ask if you have had your thyriod function tested lately and if there is a possiblity that you might have seasonal mood disorder or depression. These are all possibilities with your symptoms.

Sounds like you need to go and see your doctor. What are you doing to yourself? You cant live on fruit first of all...full of natural sugar and no carbs for energy. Dieting can be very dangerous....do not crash diet and lower your calories less than say 1200 per day. Weight watchers is excellent as is the South Beach Diet really depends on how much you have to loose, from where on your body and what food choices you like. Research more and go to get some blood work done...you may be lacking in an important functioning vitamin or mineral. Good luck.

If you're working on your health you should stay away from temporary diets.

Adjust your diet overall, try to incorporate more healthy snacks, drink a lot. If I was to suggest a fruit it would be Papaya because it aids digestion a lot and I like its taste, but even Papaya won't help you if that's the only fruit you eat. It's all in the mix ;).

Doing your "fruit" diet will do nothing but give you back all the problems you have now as soon as you quit, or even before.

If you're interested in eating healthier I'd suggest to take a look at sparkpeople (see ressource below). It's free and they have incredible and extensive ressources on nutrition!

Bananas are good any time of day, I particularly like them for breakfast as they are more filling. They do say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Also check out dried fruits too for breakfast as well as snacking between meals when you need a sugar kick.
Make a big bowl of fruit salad and just eat it as and when you want it. If its all prepared you are more likely to stick to your fruit diet.

That is an overly unhealthy proposal. Your frame demands lean protein. You ought to be consuming stuff like fowl, lean meats, egg whites, and many others... It's tons of amusing and also you burn plenty of energy without even noticing

The hardest part is starting. Any fruit you eat will benefit your health. Try raisins, grapes, an apple or a banana. Get outside and go for a walk or a run. Moderate exercise will give you more energy.
