That's a huge issue. The church has serious problems with accepting homosexuality (guess Jesus' tenant of "Love thy neighbour" doesn't apply across the board). If he isn't willing to listen, you may want to ask yourself why you want to prove it to him. Try to surround yourself with people who are more supportive and understanding. Best of luck!

Your Pastor is right. Men and women choose what they are, God never created for a man and woman to live a gay life. Matthew 19:4-6 "And He answered and said unto them, Have you not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder. Also in Genesis 2:18 " And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Genesis 2:21-23 " And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made He a woman and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." There is no account from the many times I read through the Bible that people were born gay. Read the history and sad out come of Sodom and Gomorrah. Dont misunderstand God, He loves all people no matter what walks of life we are in and has always given us a chance to change our ways but it is the things we do that go against His design for mankind (including women). I hope this was a help to you, I know it has helped me.

I don't think you need to prove him wrong. what should matter most is what you think and feel. I have friends that are gay and it doesn't stop them from their religion. I tell them what matters most is that they are happy with their self and that they follow their heart. It shouldn't matter what other people think or you trying to prove to someone that you are gay. Either they except it or they don't. good luck to you in life.

We're all prone to sinful behaviours - porn, gay life, whatever... we choose whether or not to follow through with the behaviours. Homosexual behaviour is an abomination to the LORD. It is also adulterous and adultry is a sin against God. Choose to not sin; pray for strength and a change of heart so the sin you are weak to is no longer appealing. God bless you. ~Nise~

you can not prove him wrong in that respect....
you were not created to be like that.
as for Rebeccas comment about keeping your relationship right with God: by persuing a homosexual lifestyle you are effectively telling God that what he says does not matter, so how can you keep your relationship with him right??? can you answer that rebecca
