soak and scrape

If you're a good looking Chick, then try getting one of the steamers from the street to do it free of charge, If not simply make up a bucket of soapy water and apply with a large pasting brush, soak all the walls and by the time you've finished that return to the first part of the wall and start scraping in an upward motion, catch all the edges and pull with hands to maximise your strip lengths, don't be shy with the water keep applying to drying areas to minimise effort, you should be able to peel the facing from most papers to leave only backing paper,Try this with vinyls or alfresco, once complete rub all walls with rough sandpaper,,,,,Good Luck

It really does depend on the type of paper ,,and if its been painted ,,/if painted ,,the water will just run off it and on to the floor !if painted , score the paper ,, not to deep with a small blade ,this will allow the water to penetrate,,as above good idea to put some washing liquid in the water ,, as this will stop the water running down to fast ,,dont be in to much of a rush , let the water sink right in ,, then give it some more ,

Use warm water with washing up liquid.
once it starts to get like hard work, soak it and move on to the next section. Come back to it when the water softens it.

Scribe/scratch the surface of the paper first, then apply HOT soapy water with a wide brush, two or three times, then after it's been well soaked it should scrape off without doing too much damage to the wall underneath

I use a product called DIF, you just spray it on and let it sit for about 1/2 hr. and scrape it off.
But depending on how much you have to remove it may be cheaper to buy a steamer, I have a scunci steamer, I bought for around 30 dollars, Its also great for all kinds of cleaning. floors, walls mirrors, bathrooms, counter tops, all most anything that you can clean with water. best of all you aren't using chemicals just steam. I love clean but don't necessarily like cleaning.
Best of luck.

Get a spray bottle, fill the bottle with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water. Make it strong with the vinegar, you don't need to measure. Let it stay on the walls about 10 minutes and the paper should come off easy

Use a stanley knife and cut diagonal lines all over the wall and then do it the opposite way so u have big diamonds, soak and scrape but u will be able to pull it off easier with the sections you have scored in it!1

Watered down paste, use a brush to put it on, the paste helps stop the water just running off the wall or you can borrow my steamer.

If U have a paste brush use it to wet the walls first...like you would put paste to paper...it helps softens the paper on the wall, the paper absorbs the water, leave it for a few minutes and then it is easier to strip.

I filled a water spray with warm water, sprayed the walls, then used a scraper. It came off really easily.

My steamer was so heavy that my arm got really sore, so this was much better
