on the computer any more i have to see my myspace page she says i am to young but everyone has one i have to get on at school but they have put a fire wall on just about every computer here she wants me to show her my page so she can see if there is anything bad on it and there isnt but i asked her why she couldnt trust me and she didnt give me an answer i am 14

With all the crazy people out there, and problems that have come up from internet use, it is a parent's responsibility to know what their child is doing on the internet. It is not just a matter of trusting you, but keeping you safe from potential problems and situations you might be getting into unknowingly. If there is nothing bad on your page then you should have nothing to fear from letting your mother see it. It will help build trust and perhaps open a dialog between you on the subject which currently seems to be lacking. This is an example of your mother caring about you, not just trying to make you miserable.

She's your mother and as young as you are, there is so many bad people out there that are trying to get young girls like you to do things with them. She is being a protective mother like she should be, and you should just go with it. You shouldn't have a problem to show her your page if your doing nothing wrong right?

Show her the page if there is nothing bad on it that would help build her trust. If you can't do that then get used to playing Free Cell.

She is your mother, she is just looking out for you and trying to protect you. Show her your page that way she see's there is nothing bad on it and maybe she will let you back on the computer.

moms are weird. but they are usually right. maybe you haven't shown her that you can be trusted. i would suggest doing your homework, doing chores the first time she tells you. i know i doesn't sound like fun but whenever i need trust from her its what i do. as to showing her your myspace page don't show it to her until she gives you an answer about her trust. you do have right to know.

i think my space is a bad site for teens and you should know your mother is just looking out for you.I think you should respect her wishes.
