Fish comes to mind-- just yesterday I read that a mere 3oz of salmon/week reduces risk of heart attacks by 36%-- astounding!!
There's a lot of protein in gelatin; eggs are good ; there are varying amounts of protein from many grains. And you can combine certain beans and grains to get complete amino acid protein; i.e., a combination of beans, rice and tortillas. See Frances Moore Lappe's book: "Diet for a Small Planet" for info on
proteins. Most of the powdered drinks you can buy at health food stores or gyms are super-high in protein, as well as the meal replacement bars.

Brazil Nuts are good though they can be fattening when eaten in large quantities. You can also buy Protein Powders that can be added to water or milk from health food stores.

any bean or legume, like a chick pea or gorgonzola bean, white, black, and red beans, are great for protein, and soy beans, and tofu is a good source of veggie protein
