First of all it depends on if the surgery will permanently disable you. Social security has really tough standards. Then you need to apply, bring all of your doctors info with you. You will be rejected automatically unless you are paraplegic. Then you go to a s.s.i attorney and let him appeal for you. The process takes 6 to 12 months but it can be worth it if you are truly disabled you will get paid retroactive from the initial onset of your disability. Just having multiple surgeries won't qualify.

I think your doctor has to rule you as permanently disabled, then you have to follow the proper channels.
