Haven't been involved since '92, but back then the up-charge was about $1,00 per foot. The extra cutting at the walls, ya know.
I'm sure you're aware of the importance in layout.
Don't know if it runs more today.

I did some outside estimating in 2002-03. Tile installation was around $2.50-3.50, about $4,00 for diagonal. It may vary in some areas with Mexican labor less.

Northeast, Midwest has the highest labor,Union.

It depends on the quality of tile. maybe $5/ft, maybe 1000/ft
