it depends on the person....different ppl have different opinions on stuff and will take stuff different....but most ppl would prob like it

opposit sex friends???? I tell my girlfriends they are beautiful a lot, and my guy friends, while I am not full of compliments, I let them know I value their friendship. If there is something distinguishing about them like their eyes or something that I find extrodinary I tell them. But men don't seem to "need" compliments as women do. And I am a woman, I know. lol

Well, let's see here...Duh,
Are you both the same sex...Maybe face slapped, or if they are gay maybe a big kiss.
If it's a guy you are saying this to...Maybe he would prefer the word handsome.
If you are a girl saying to a gf... Maybe she will think you are gay.
If you are a guy saying it to a female friend... Maybe she will just simply say...Thank You.
and maybe next time you ask a question...you could make it a little clearer.

Yeah would say it, jokingly of course...
Usually results into frequent visits to the mirror in bathroom or on the rear view mirror or sometimes to any shinny object that shows ones reflection! (it gives a good feeling to be told or to say it to someone, so long as its not a lie)
