My girlfriend is thinking of signing up with them, but I've read some VERY negative things on the internet. I was just wondering if anyone has had a good or bad experience with them?

Remember, I'm not looking for weight loss advice, but your thoughts on LA Weight Loss.

I would not join. I join 2 years ago and it was a waste of time and money. It cost 1000 to get everything you need and it never worked for me.

I cannot tell you anything about the company but will give you some good advise. You should not believe everything you read, and that include the critics and the advertisement. These Weight Loss programs is businesses and make use of very effective advertisement and marketing strategies. They will corner you with all sorts of wonder full things include the normal before and after pictures, don't believe it. These programs cannot make you lose weight, they can only provide advise, weigh loss come from the individual and you can sign up to every program there is, but in the end it depend on you. You can get all the info for much cheaper in books. The choice is your, and if they are a scam, I doubt it, if they are very cunning and successful marketeers, definitely.

While it is not a scam, it is probably a strict diet. Over eaters do not fare well on this kind of diet. They grow bored and feel deprived and eventually give up or cheat a lot. So, while it is a legitimate program, some people just can't do it. Tell her to read the book "Am I Hungry" by Michelle May. It explains a lot about eating and dieting and what to do when all else fails. It's better than a diet plan. I am an over eater and I have learned a lot from this book and am losing weight the "natural" way. It's available on e-bay or Amazon.com. I got a new copy for about $10. Money well spent that will save me hundreds on programs that I know won't work for me. Good luck.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Yes they are a scam. They offer amazing results with no effort which makes no sense. Tell her to spend her money on nutritous food and a good pair of running shoes.
