when is the right time to tell my love interest i have a child?

...especially considering he is asian and me being black my child is black. he keeps talking about how he would like us to settle down together and each time i have to change the subject. he has introduced me to quite a number of his people yet i'm not able to introduce him to mine coz i don't want him to hear it from someone else. would our relationship really work out with my child in the picture

God gave you this child and remember above all that you were a mother before you were his girlfriend. If he is accepting of the situation......hooray and if he is not.....adios.
