If it's exposed to the sunlight daily, it will deteriorate because UV light is bad to the body that made of fibre glass material.

There are Sealed Panel Units available!
Saw them on a Technology Program!
Best bet would be to inquire at Best Buy or Circuit City!
They will know where the best place to obtain one!
I would Not use a Conventional Panel TV for Obvious reasons-
i.e Moisture!!! and the Potential for electric Shock!!

Moisture would kill it, dust and rain and heat. Bye Bye HDTV was my first reaction. You will need a enclosed ventilated case for this, try the net.
