1/2 cup blackberries
A few nice strawberries
1 cup evaporated milk

What would you substitute, what would you replace? what would you add? Thanks so much..maybe we can get some smoothie ideas out of this question...

In place of the evaporated milk I'd use low fat organic milk. I'd take out the sweetener. Artifical sweetners are a big no no. Plus, with the berries in there I think it will be sweet enough. I make smoothies all the time and never add sweetners. I'd probably omit the water as well. I might add some ice cubes though, unless I'm using frozen berries. Oh--and I usually add wheat germ to my smoothies. It doesn't add flavor but it adds fiber and folic acid. Your smoothie sounds yummy and refreshing.

take out the yogurt:
Add Penut butter for protien:
Oatmeal dry for long lasting meal replacement:
Add Ice: you'gotta have ice!
There now that shake will keep you going untill 200pm
without geting the munchies
You can also use rasins for a sweetner. Strange sounding but good.Cheers!

It looks good, although I would take out the sweetener, and use orange juice instead of the mik (lactose intolerant).
Thanks for the idea - I might try this this morning!
