I am a student and I am disturbed by the lots of deaths caused to innocent people due to ignorance.

Lots of different reasons - ranging from political to scientific. I would recommend you read the book "The Band Played On".
From a medical perspective, the virus continues to mutate. As soon as progress is made, the virus changes into something else. The medical researcher are "shooting at a moving target".
From a social aspect, HIV seems to be last week's news. People have started to feel safer for some reason and aren't as vigilant in protecting themselves.
And that doesn't even begin to address the issues in 3rd world and/or under developed countries.

Some people have said that the HIV mutates. This is true. However, the one thing that can work is the slowing of the immune response without hindering the power of the immune system. This can be accomplished with peppermint oil lozenges. You can ask an AIDS researcher how it can work against any strain of virus. If an AIDS researcher cannot explain it then ask a college professor to explain. If you still don't have an answer then you will have to ask a Yahoo question.
I am also disturbed by the deaths of people due to incompetence and greed in the medical profession.

Not sure the question you're asking. Did you know that the virus mutates at very quick rates? This is why solutions (drug cocktails) have taken a bit of a shotgun approach.

the main problem with finding a cure for aids is that each time scientists get close to finding a medicine that is effective against aids the virus mutates and they have to start from scratch again. this is not money related and it would be to everyones advantage to find a cure or vaccination to prevent it.

Many believe there already is a cure for HIV and many cancers......but do you realize how this would not profit the money buffs in the health care industry. I have no proof of this, but it would not surprise me..

they know how to kill it
but dont know how to deliever it inot the system
infact black-pepper kills HIV, but it doesnt help if u eat it, and if u inject it, it wont reach EVERY SINGLE virus.
even IF we found a way to deliever it effectively, soon it would develop resistance to teh drug and ur back to square one

a lot of people dont know they have it til its to late. it would be nice if we could isolate it...but there is really no way of doing so.
