Yes God has set our path before us. it is up to us to make the decision to walk with Him or not. there are no multiple choice questions in this regard. we have a choice to either walk in His grace or not. it is that simple, because when we walk in His truth all the bad things that we are doing will be highlighted to us and we can adjust our lives for the better. Better is on day in the presence of God than an eternity in the peasures of the world.
to counter NONDESCRIPTS comment, God does not torture us, but those who do not walk with him torture themselves.

Well, I wouldn't say that God has set our future. As the psalmist says.... God created heaven and earth and all those seen and unseen. All the creatures He provides food and shelter.
To the lions, God provides but it is the lion who will need to find his own food.
So I guess it's the same with us. We will need to find our own future... but a future that God provides.
Just as God provides all types of food, trees and creatures as food. So I guess, we are just like the lion.
In the end, we are just God's creatures standing there all small and tiny in front of our loving Creator.

really what i think is that we really have no choice in our lives.
our fates are sealed at birth, you are either lucky or cursed.
for us wh are cursed we are doomed to live a life constantly seeking hope and affection to something that is non existant and silent yet we keep wishing that there is something out there to protect us.
us who are cursed are forced to be brave and strong and deal with the tortures of an unfair life.
hey someone was meant to suffer, so the not so loving "father" or mother-(who see the unfairness) does this
it seems what ever you do to try and better yourself it never works out in the end, and coming to realisation that it is so is really harsh and heartbreaking.
us wjo are cursed ar going to die matyrs to something that is really nothing but a lie told by others for years to try and control the way you think, and they way you live.

No. Sorry, but there are no gods. If there was a god, why would he set up A, B, C, D, and E so that we have an 80% chance of failing so he can torture us forever? That just doesn't make sense. Of course, religion rarely makes sense.

yes..the bible says in all your ways to aknowledge him and he will make your paths straight...its hard not to worry about the future but if you trust and keep your eyes on god...then his will will prevail in your life over anything and everything. No matter what happens remember that god is in control.

Yes I believe we need to make a choice for Jesus.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
I Cr 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!

Islam is not a religion of “blind faith” but is a religion that strongly calls on man to use his logic, reasoning and intellect. Allah in the Quran stresses the importance for people to think, to reason and to use their mind and intellect. The word “mind” or “reasoning” is mentioned 49 times in the Quran (in Arabic Ta’qiloon 24 times, Ya’qiloon 22 times, and A’qal, Na’qil and Ya’qil one time each). Also Allah refers to “people of understanding” 16 times in the Quran (in Arabic Ulu Al-AlBab or Uli Al-Albab). Allah also refers to “those of intelligence” two times in Chapter 20 by the Arabic term Uli Al-Nuha. Allah also refers in many chapters in the Quran to the mind by the Arabic word Al-Fuad. Also in many verses in the Quran, Allah uses the term heart (in Arabic Al-Qalb) in place of the word Al-Fuad (mind) to mean the same thing. In one place in Chapter 89 verses 53 & 54, Allah refers to the mind by the Arabic word Al-Hijr. The Quran also, in tens of verses, strongly calls and emphasizes the need to “contemplate” and to “give thought” (in Arabic Fikr or Tafakkor). Also in tens of verses, the Quran draws attention to the importance for man to “remember” and to “recall” (in Arabic Tazakkor). The significance of the two being: to “give thought” is to increase or acquire new knowledge, whereas to “remember” is to recall and remind oneself of relevant knowledge and events that may have been forgotten, but which are important for one’s faith.
Allah praises people who use their mind:
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding - Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], “Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” (Quran, 3:190-191
