How can I help my pregnant twin sister?

My twin sister and I are 14 years old and naturally we are very close, we discuss everything together and have no secrets.

She is very upset right now and has confided in me that she is pregnant but she is absolutely adamant that she is still a virgin and that no boys have been anywhere near her.

I believe her but this is really disturbing because I can think of only one way it could have happened. We often share bathwater, at separate times of course, and I use the privacy to masturbate into the water. So, it must have been me and I have told her as much.

What do we do and who can we turn to?

Darling do not listen to people saying you are the father. It is impossible for that scenario to be true so there's one thing to stop worrying about. I have a twin brother & we have a close relationship so I understand you believing her & worrying. Sometimes girls especially so young can be in such denial about their pregnancy and what got them there that they actually believe their own story so it's not like she's meaning to lie to you. I knew a girl who denied her pregnancy until she gave birth! Are you sure that she is pregnant? She may have had sex & is extremely worried without cause. What you two have to do is get a home pregnancy test and you witness the results. You can get one from the chemist. Do not say anything about her having sex yet as it will only upset her since she doesn't want to admit it. Just know it's not you! If the test is positive & she is in fact pregnant, you have to find someone to talk to. Anyone you can trust or try a help line. You can talk to them if she won't. If you have money, abortion is a safe option if it's done properly but you first have to talk to someone to find out if it's possible to do without your parents knowing etc. Helplines are there for this reason.
You are a good brother to help her so do it as soon as you can. The longer it goes the worst the problem is so be the man & do the work that she is too upset to do. Once it's over, you can discuss the father issue.. but it's NOT you! good luck hon x
Btw.. a lot of people are telling you to tell yr parents. I understand how twins work & how u will do everything u can together before turning to someone else. In this situation u can do it together but u need some outside help so if u simply can not talk to parents, please call a helpline together. They do not know who u are & are sworn to secrecy so do the talking for her. There may be a way the two of u can handle it together as I know u want to. When u can't do anymore, look at the options & make a decision on what's available & get help.

Hey. Well first off i think it's really cool that you and your sister have such a strong bond and can talk to eachother about stuff like this.
It is true that your sister could be pregnant but it is very possible that she isn't afterall. 14 is an age for a lot of girls to go through a lot of physical changes...her breasts may be hurting, she may have missed a period and lot's of other hormonal things that also happen to pregnant women and may make her think that she is! The chances of her getting pregnant from sperm infested bath water....quite slim. I'm mean I suppose it is possible but highly unlikely and she would probably make it on CNN or something :)
First thing you both should do is go to the market and pick up a home pregnancy test....if she is in fact pregnant then either she is lying about being a virgin or has had sexual CONTACT (where she may still consider herself a virgin) and sperms could've made contact with her privates oooooooor you guys have a very interesting situation and it is in fact bath water.....(eek)

Ur kids will look like u both too. Personally, there's no chance that a birdie from air dropped the baby into her, if she's pregnant then it is 100 percent done by intercourse, no jacking off in bath water can do that, the sperm cant live that long in open.Get a preg test to check if its true and if so contact ur parents, they will be able to help u the best. Sooner or later they will come to know, so why not at a time when they can help u.

Unless your sister was also masturbating while in the bath tub it is highly unlikely that the baby is yours. Sperm don't have little legs to crawl up a girls vagina, and besides the heat of the bath would have killed them before they got anywhere near her...unless you guys were taking really cold baths.
I think that you should tell your sister to be honest with you and maybe she has been near a guy but not necissarily sex ie: fingering could have gotten her pregnant if the guy has sperm on his fingers.
Take her to a doctor to confirm that she really is pregnant and when you do you can speak to your parents about the next step, but to really find out what to do your sister needs to be more honest.

i don't believe that this baby is yours but i do know that another way of her getting pregnant while still a virgin a by 'dry-sex'. if she has a boyfriend and he 'came' on her or around her vagina, the sperm can live for up to 3 days. i know that your parents probably won't believe her about still being a virgin but there are tests they can do to proove this, you HAVE to be there for your sister no matter what her decision maybe. does she have a boyfriend? i would suggest you guys look into family councellors for the best advice on what to do... this is too serious to do otherwise...remember though that God's Faithfulness Never Fails...He's there for you both to help you through this, talk to Him... Sperm could not have got inside your sister's vagine through bath water for a start.

If she is genuinely pregnant (tell her to see a doctor for a test) she MUST'VE either had full sexual intercourse or she was engaging in some sort of sexual activity with a boy. He wouldnt necessarily have to enter her to get her pregnant - if she had sperm on her fingers and then touched herself she could get pregnant, or if a boy was masturbating and then touched your sister's private parts she could get pregnant that way. It is impossible to get pregnant with no sexual activity so if she maintains this she is probably trying to deny she took part in sexual activity.

I suggest you take her to see a doctor or sexual health clinic pronto and confide in your parents as she is too young to go through this alone.

3) no sex no baby...unless medical artifical insemination and that has a low sucess rate, even with women on hormones to make them release more eggs!

Okay that is not true she can not get pregnant like that ask any dr. She is lying. You need to encourage her to speak to your parents about this. She is 14 years old. Your parents will be furious with you if they find out that you knew and didn't say anything. I really think you really need to talk to someone about this. It's a very delicate situation. Good luck

Honestly, I think this is impossible. It's very hard for sperm to live outside of the body, let alone in hot bath water. I think you should urge her to see a doctor for more advice.
