In what way? I am afraid I do not understand. Could you elaborate?
Thanks

Edit: In every field, there are competent employees and non-competent ones and there are rigid and flexible people. The fatwa is researching similar situations and building a jusdgement in comparison and in history, there were all kinds of attitudes, as now, rigid and flexible ones.

For us muslims, the fatwa is not as final as a verse in the Quran or a Hadeeth in Sunna. You can find contradictory fatwas because of the reasons above and because there is a personal effort and opinion involved.

You still need to consult your heart. But those scholars should know that they have a huge responsibility because not everyone can think and weigh opinions.

I hope this answers your questio :) May Allah bless you.

yes, i think so.
before giving a fatwa used to be a big thing , now anyone with a little knowledge can make a fatwa , and unfortunately people`s ignorance has encouraged these people to act more..........
fatwa if not based on Koran and suna, is not something that people should act upon, and the scholars are humans they might be right or wrong,i think that the people have a choice to either accept or decline any fatwa if it encourages radicalism
it depends on the person`s mind..........

Whoever get power, someone of them are likely to misuse their power. Some of the people are giving fatwa to only get killed peacefully like chickens. What do you say about them.

Well who gave them the power to issue fatwas in the first place. And if they had the power why not restrict it to just their religion?

well actually some people have the habit of misusing the power and authority given to them -- from ALL Politicians, to Mullahs to Preists to Rabbis . i think it is very evident that now a days even Freedom of Speech is being misused and man handled. and what do think about that?.

It's a diversionary tactic. When there's too much trouble than they can handle they point out to an enemy, just to try and get back some unity.Pakistan has been doing this sort of thing for ages. The people need to get educated and I can't see the pundits approving that.

Many people get into religion for good reasons then abuse power. When you use invisible beings that nobody else can see as your source of authority, you can pretty much get your followers to do anything.

That's why religions tend to become totalitarian.

they just do it. Its just like the crusades, or God telling the Israelites to go to war. It is just an example of people using religion to justify murder

Same reasons why every other vile, evil, greedy, power grubbing person has ever used their power for ill-------personal gain.
Simple vanity.
