All you've got to do is wait until you're at the end of a sentence or whatever, then do a couple of line spaces, then in caps type something awfully insulting and rude - like "What the f88k do you think you're looking at you dirty nosey smelly bastard?", preferably using double-spaced letters so that there can be no room for error.
They won't be able to say anything to you will they, because they know they shouldn't have been reading it anyway! You can have a lot of fun like that AND cure the problem too!!!

I love it when someone does that to me!

I'm assuming you are typing on a computer keyboard and not a real typewriter, right? Using a computer, here's the game plan...

Start typing about THEM - using their first AND last name. Type exactly the question you posed here and how annoying, rude, unprofessional and uncouth it is. Then get up and walk to the water cooler or get a cup of coffee so they can read it clearly without having to strain to see. Save and close that document and go on to something else. In a few minutes, reopen the document, omit that section and go on.

Guess you are at a net cafe, or browsing centre : Curiosity is a part and parcel of most human beings, and if you are a young and attractive person, the person sitting next to you is bound to be curious about whom you are corresponding with !
...There are 2 ways of handling this situation :
1. Just look directly at that person's eyes, and tell him/her that 'Please, I am dealing with some personal correspondence, and will thank you not to keep watching my screen !'. Say this softly enough as not attract the others' notice, but firmly enough to make the inquisitive person understand that you mean business !
2. Suddenly stand up and call out to the Cafe or Centre's manager in a LOUD voice : 'Excuse me, could you please shift me to another monitor ? I'm being disturbed from attending to some personal correspondence !' Here again, you are not specifically accusing that busybody, but making it very clear that you will not take nonsense from anybody !
Depending on your temperament, you are the best judge as to what will really work well for you : Best of Luck.

They don't have a mind of their own, they think that you are better than them, type something like "the person next to me keeps reading what i type", and see how they react to that

Why don't you ask the person? Then you will know instead of getting a bunch of what people may think but still leave you wondering. Think out side the box.

I really hate that and that is why I don't like computer labs or public libraries.Next time someone does that; just give them something to look at.
