I don't think medical science has proved anything either way. But I believe that such ppl can sense things. They may not respond, but I think some part of them feels - emotions of their loved ones etc. There's no way to define how or what ppl feel.

confident, they're nonetheless human beings. they're alive, people purely like people who are not in vegetative states. my uncle had a terrible accident and ended up in a coma, for 2 months. i understand that's no longer comparable to being thoughts lifeless, yet once you're in a coma you exceptionally plenty could initiate each and every thing you ever knew or found out over back. he got here out of the coma and appropriate now could be at this degree the place he's nearly a 2 month previous toddler. that's terrible and notwithstanding if he by no ability rather get better's, he will constantly be someone.

Hi there ..

It depends on the vital parameter .".Brain function"...
If it is working okay...and the consciousness is at least half level, some amount of response to all stimuli will be there !
But if Brain is severly affected due to any disease , stmuli for recognition and other respenses will not be there !
Response depends upon the basic disease process !
