He keeps trying to hump everything in sight... Including humans and he's starting to irritate my older cat cos he keeps bouncing on her back. She's been done so she's definitely not interested and I'm scared she'll end up hurting him.

* He's not allowed out yet so there will be no new kittens any time soon and as I said in an abovve statement my older cat has been done so there's no chance of her getting pregnant.

Just be careful, because neutered males have a tendency to get urinary tract disease (crystals that can block their urination). Ask the vet what he should eat afterwards (there are good scientific foods to prevent crystal formation, but not the ones for treatment, because they could cause the opposite problem) and if you ever see him straining on the litter box without peeing, or peeing in unusual places, or dark urine, take him to the vet ASAP. You must remember that because it may happen in many years, not immediately.

yes, yes, yes. And if you get it done between 6 and 9 mos., he will grow to be a really BIG cat ! I had one done at 3 yrs., and the vet told me he wouldn't change much, because he was already "muscled-out". Do it. ( be cautious when you get him back home. I had to lock this particular cat in the barn. He attacked my leg ! He stalked me first. It can take a few days for all their hormones to settle down. And he won't be happy. But, very worth it. )

Yes you should get him neutered. This world doesnt need any more homeless cats. Also neutering helps prevent testicular cancer in cats. Please do your kitty a favor and have him neutered. My cat got neutered and the next day he was fine. But when he gets neutered keep him inside for a couple days after. They usually do not stitch up the area because they just make two tiny slits. Please get him neutered.

Hi Jody...your kitty is beginning to show signs of sexual maturity and it would be a good time to have him neutered. Eventually, male cats begin to spray urine if they are not neutered and the odour can be quite strong and if not treated with a enzymatic neutralizer will cause your kitty to continually remark that area in the future as well.

Yes, should have been done 4 months ago.
If he is starting that behavior he may soon start spraying, and that is one thing you certainly don't want to happen!

yes, get him neutered...and ESPECIALLY if you are going to allow him to go outside...there are probably lots of unspayed strays out there, and the last thing you want is for him to impregnate a bunch of females and have even more unwanted kittens out there.
