Be careful! You knew this was a problem before you wrote this question. Laxatives are not a healthy way to lose weight. Eat healhy food, exercise and you'll have more energy and you'll look and feel better. Don't forget that too thin does not look good

It sounds as though you have an eating problem. I think you should talk to your Mum and the GP about this. Your Mum be probably be amazed because I bet she thinks you are gorgeous anyway. I mean 10 stone isn't really that big.
Talk it through, explain why you felt/feel you need the laxatives. Maybe you Mum could help by making sure there is plenty of salad at all meals, lots of water and maybe you could go swimming together which is a nice toning and slimming exercise.
You only get one body - don't muck it up at age 16 for goodness sake - youn won't get another one.
Talk it through - you'll be surprised how helpful Mums and GPs can be.

See a doctor or weight control specialist to regulate your body to the ideal you want. Keep exercising and eat right. Most impriotant feel happy whatever your weight is. But keep working on it till you reeach your target. Professional can only advise you. You are your best monitor.
But, you are only 16 year olds. Don't be overly concious of your weight. Make your you stay healthy. Exercising by simply take a half hour brisk walk daily does wonder to for lot of people, me included. It should be good for you, too. Good luck

That is definitely an eating disorder. Many anorexics use laxatives to force the food out.
Laxatives do no allow your body to "take what it needs"---it's not like your body cells are at a buffet and just take what they need/like from the food passing through your digestive system.
If you continue, you risk serious damage to your brain and other vital organs. Plus, long-term laxative use (like what you are doing) can permanently damage the intestines and colon. You may think you look good thin, but how do you think you will look wearing an adult diaper for the rest of your life? Or have to have a colostomy bag full of feces strapped to you?

I have been told this is a very dangerous thing to do. Those laxatives can have a terrible effect on your large colon. It can become as thin as tissue paper and if you think you have problems now just wait !!!!!!!!
See your doctor as soon as possible----- you need help and advise on how to lose weight safely.
Look after yourself do not abuse your body like that----- you know the saying what goes around comes around -------- your body and more especially your colon has heard that saying and is acting on it now as we communicate

This is an eating disorder, its a form of bulimia.
Your colon is constantly in spasm from the laxatives and therefore doesn't have an opportunity to use the food you are putting into yourself.
You need to seek medical help before you do yourself long term harm.
