You complete tosser!

What's an "Eastern European looking man" supposed to look like? I've met many eastern Europeans and they have all been Caucasian liker any indigenous Brit.

Research the facts and get a life you toss pot.

You are a complete liar you moron! No council in the UK provided fully furnished properties, I have never in my life read so much garbage as what you have written there.
And for your information, Eastern Europeans (economic migrants, not refugees) CANNOT claim benefits when they arrive in this country.

DREAM ON YOU COMPLETE DREAMER.

I think I am abroad. The problem is there are so many Saxon's, Franks, Vikings, Romans, and Normans here I would not know where to find a true Englishman. Perhaps they all live in Wales now?

OK, the problem is not with the immigrants, it is with a system that makes freeloading possible, or worse still encourages it. Use your vote to change it!

I find it curious that the English grammar of some of the immigrant contributors is better than that of the more abusive British members of this forum. Give me an educated foreigner over an ignorant local any day.

I come from Britain but I feel like I am in a different country! I was born here and raised here, yet I see no sign of the free housing, or health care (That is paid for by my taxes), I also don't have free speech! So I guess I must live here for the inclement weather!! Or maybe it's because, as I was growing up the things you state above 'Were available' to us!!....Now they are only used as incentives for people from outside the country to come here and sponge! The sooner this pathetic goverment goes the better!!

yeh i agree with you im english and have the same views but you cant say them out load because then your a biggot and a racist arnt you.sadly because alot of the people that do come out with it are and have a totallly one sided argument not like you and me, the bleeding hearted liberals and are laws and political correctness is killing this country i think people are wiseing up but it wont make any difference i have no qualms with people coming to this country if there genuinly in danger in there own country but then look what that view has done to us,also if you can pay your own way i cant see a problem with them coming here but the country this government has sent the wrong message to eastern europe and for this we our suffering but also alot of these people are there have been alot of people killed from suffercation in those meat wagons that cross our boarders and if it wasnt so easy for them to get free stuff in this country and examples were made so the message was sent that this country wasnt such a soft touch these people would not have died and there deaths were on the head of tony blair and this government and mafia to which the goverment plays right into there hands, this subject is so vast and affects so many people and also theres alot of info were not getting through main stream media its scary.

I came from Egypt to work as a doctor to save your life when you end up in a car accident on a Saturday night while being drunk. I work VERY HARD for the money I earn, I pay a lot of taxes enough to support at least 50 jobless guys who live on benefits.I do not use your free housing neither health care and my children go to private schools. I respect the law of this country, respect everyone believe, way of thinking, I hate racism, violence and people like you who are supposed to be British and can not even spell weather!

SIR Magdi Yacoub (top heart Surgeon) came from where I came!

your wrong it's not all of them. I'm from the Caribbean but my island was colonised by the British, my queen is the same as the British , my national song is the same as the British. i like England but compared to where I came from England is really looks bad but at least they are improving it. I'm a British citizen so no one can tell me any thing i came to England because my island has on a volcano and it's active (check out Montserrat if you don't believe me). a whole half of the island is under ash and I'm not saying some people don't come to England for that but i didn't have a choice me and my family were only planing on staying here for 2 years but my old home is under ash. most of them come for better jobs and to work hard and that's good. i can under stand why people are angry about the influx of them but if you were to immigrant to another country I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be so rude and intolerant of you as immigrant.

hmm. what would you think of me then? my mother was born in Bells Hill, Glasgow (pure scot), and my father half irish half austrian. I was born and grew up in Australia. Does this mean I ain't entitled to my british citizenship, cause I have been brought up in another country?

Though i see your point. I'm trying to go back to england to escape the crap in Australia (you think you have it tough, they started race riots in Australia, and we whitees are the ones getting the blame saying we're intolerant, that we should put up with them robbing us and ruining everything we got).

I think we need to adopt a Singaporian government system, whereby the tax payers choose where the tax money goes. So if people don't put money into roads, or trains, the roads and trains stop. That is rather than arbitrarily setting funds.

If you don't like government policy they why don't you stand up to the government.
Oh, I forgot, that takes effort and courage. It is easier picking on immigrants -- especially over the internet.

I guess I won't be getting 10 points for this answer. 2 points will do.

Mywife came over from South Africa. We met while working in Jersey and have now been married for 8 years. She is a UK citizen now, but didnt come over to Jersey for a free passport, so I guess it was my charisma, wit and charm!
