One of the guys I work with told us his daughter (24) dances at a local strip club and he occasionaly goes and watches her dance. He said she gets a real kick out of it. Other guys I work with thought it was cool but I got real angry and will not even talk to him now. I'm a dad with three daughters and am very overprotective. Did I overreact?

It does seem perverted although I do think you have over reacted. If everyone stopped talking because of something like this no one would be talking.
Keep your discussions to topics that are safe. Also keep in mind that he won't become your bosum buddy so just keep it light.

Dear Clin:
Gosh this man is a pervert! You are the sane man and you rae doing the right thing to stay away from him , you know with people like that you could get contaminated! Those are the kinda sick scum and incest minded freaks society got to get rid of!
You are not over protective father but you are just being a father and a father is supposed to be overprotective!
Good luck and donot mix with this guy he is bad infulence for you! You have made the right choice!

I suppose that depends on your moral compass. I went to school with a gal who strips at her fathers strip club now.
Personally, I wouldn't go to a strip club, let alone have a child that worked in one no matter how good the money is. That is my moral compass though.

Values vary from person to person, thus it may be OK for your co-worker and not yourself. Personally if my daughter were to strip for a living it would not be an activity I would go see.

As for your relationship with the co-worker, that is up to you. However, you have to get along at the workplace. Keep personal issues at home.

Could be he is a pervert, or could be he is also being over-protective and that's one reason he is there. Too make sure of his safety. Either way, only he and the daughter could really tell you the ultimate truth. Personally, I agree with you and your feelings on this matter.

He enjoys seeing his little girl strip in front of him!!!! He is a pervert and probably abused her when she was little. I would avoid him and dont let any children near him!!

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong

If she gets a kick out of it someone wants to examine the relationship they have together. Incestrual perverse nature of that relationship it seems.
