I am not saying this to embarrass you, for I am a recovering alcoholic, sober 17 yrs, and you gave me little info.
Do you drink quite a bit, and have you been drinking a long time?
If not, you could actually be allergic to alcohol, and that could be the reaction.
If you are a heavy, frequent or a daily drinker, things are getting serious for you.
You are approaching "wet brain." This condition is awful, and leads to DTs, delerium tremens, with awful hallucinations and uncontrolled trembling.
If you want to avoid this, go to AA, get a sponsor, and go to 10 meetings a day if you need it. I have been to 5 a day.
Sobriety, while difficult, is much the better choice, and I have seen some hellified drunks get sober, sometimes by looking in the mirror.
It is now up to you. Booze, or a life?

You are just more sensitive to alcohol withdrawl than most people. The sedative makes your GABA receptors more active and helps you out.

You must drink a fair amount?
Its called the 'd.t's' where I come from.....and you need to lay off the booze, if you have this problem....A sedative!!! wow....no wonder you shake....Its bad, to do that? do not take a sedative...

and stop drinking...
Give your kidneys a rest.

You either drank too much or you could have a sugar problem. You might want to get tested for diabetes.
