Why is human baby not fed with primate's milk ?

Question

Considering that primate is the closest family to human, isn't primate milk more suitable for human baby, compare to milk of cow ? Is there (in this world) people that feed their baby with primate milk ?

Human babies should be breast fed. That is rediculous. leave the primates in the jungle. Things were much better before man discovered how to make infant formula. Nature's way is always best.

who's going to milk the primate? good luck with that one.
I have often wondered why we don't harvest milk from humans; we used to hire wet-nurses to breastfeed. why not harvest milk from women willing to sell it? I think fear of disease is the primary reason.
by the way, cow's milk is certainly not a substitute for breastmilk or formula; cow's milk should be a supplement only, and not given before 6 months of age.

I think the best milk for babies is mother milk
Cows milk is just fine.. you need to get your baby unused to different things so as they don't grow up in a bubble and get sick every time they try something there body is not used to.

and what happens to all the babies who CANNOT breast feed?? i am insulted by your remark, i wanted to bf for a full 2 years. but it didnt work out that way.

my baby is thriving on formula, i buy the most expensive there is......thankyou very much, breast is not always best.
but no, i wouldnt have my baby drinking monkey milk

I don't think monkey milk would be good for babies! And who is going to be brave enough to collect the milk?
