an unusual name for aspirin! well higher uric acid levels if asymptomatic could be observed but do have a risk of potentiating gout, so ask your doctor for dietary modifications, otherwise if you have gout or if these are too high then allopurinol is the first drug, colchicine may be helpful but less likely in asymptomatic stages, indirect benifit could be acheived with cozaar and tricor, lastly prednisone, good luck

I think you may have misunderstood what he said,because pureed foods are baby foods,all wized up in a blender. I have uric acid kidney stones and my specialist told me nothing would stop the production of them I was taking some white pills 4x a day until my stomach just said not 1 more or you'll vomit. I did have some stones taken out, but I probably will just keep producing them. Call MD and ask him/her to spell what that word was. He may have said purine. Better you should know than worry or do the wrong thing.
